We’re so excited about our concert this Monday evening, February 14, at 7:00 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greater Naples, 6340 Napa Woods Way, Naples, FL.
The concert is free, and donations are gratefully accepted.
Our program, entitled “Love and Solitude,” will feature pieces by William Grant Still, Samuel Barber, Darius Milhaud, Paul Reade, Giacinto Scelsi, and Thomas Albert. Six musicians will perform on the concert: Kyle Szabo (violin), Stacey McColley (clarinet), Kate Lucander (soprano), Shawn Allison (saxophone), Isabelle Aubin (piano), and Abbey Allison (piano). Taken as a whole, Nautilus’s collaborators work with almost every major arts center and organization in the region, including FGCU, the Sarasota Opera Orchestra, Punta Gorda Symphony, Southwest Florida Symphony, and more. Each piece will feature a different combination of musicians, ranging from unaccompanied work, to mixed duos and trios, and culminating in a beautiful, meditative work involving all six players. If you want to celebrate Valentine’s Day—or would rather get away from it!—we think there will be something on this concert for you to enjoy.
All audience members must be masked and vaccinated. For more information, go to https://nautiluschamberplayers.com
We hope to see you at the concert!
